Part of their objective during this tour is to listen and allow the people of the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis residing in the diaspora to speak.
The partners of Team Unity have made it clear; the current political, social and economical state of the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is woefully unacceptable and it begs for a dynamic restructuring in order to restore the once economically sound independent nation to the enviable heights for which it was once renowned.
The eleven man Team Unity candidates are committed to ushering in this long sought after political dispensation.
Collectively, the current opposition parliamentarians believe strongly that their collaboration will restore integrity and a true sense of civic pride to government and ultimately shift the present political dispensation in a new direction.
On Saturday December 7, 2013, Team Unity steams into Harlem New York with a Cocktail and Rally Fundraiser. This highly anticipated event will allow Team Unity partners to dialogue with citizens and enjoy a spirited filled, fired up time in North America.
The following day, Sunday December 8, 2013 will see the Unity partners returning to Harlem to engage in an important “You Speak We Listen” dialogue with citizens, speaking to pertinent issues that currently affect the people of the federation at this time.
Organizers anticipate that citizens who reside abroad will support their Unity Partners and take an active and fired up role in the dynamic shifting of the political status quo in the federation.
Saturday night's Cocktail and Rally will commence at 7PM and the
“You Speak We Listen” meeting commences at 4:30PM. Both events are slated to be held at 350 West 115th Street, Basement Level, between Manhattan and Morningside Avenues.
