BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A St. Peter’s resident has been named Kajola Kristada's Employee of the Month (EoM) for October 2013.
She is Teshoy Bridgewater, who has joined the EoM family and would soon have her photo added to the Award's Wall of Fame.
Speaking with SKNVibes on Friday (Nov. 29), the Connectors Line employee said that she was very much excited to have learnt of her win but did not express it because she is not one to be emotional.
"I felt really good but I did not show it because I am not the emotional type. I just like to keep things simple."
Bridgewater disclosed that this is her first time winning the award, having been working with the company for some 14 years.
When asked what she did differently that might have given way for her to be chosen, Bridgewater said she just continued working hard and when there would have been days absent from work in the past, she ensured she was at work every day.
Her Supervisor Nerissa Wilson said that Bridgewater had only recently joined her Line and has proven to be a tremendous worker.
She also said that it is Bridgewater’s determination to go above and beyond the call of duty that made her stood out.
Wilson said that the Employee of the Month is one who wants to be the best, adding that she not only pushes herself but she also encourages her team to be the best that they could be.
She said that Bridgewater also pushes the team to produce more and shows herself to be quality-oriented.
Bridgewater expressed sincere thanks to her Supervisor and the Management team for "realising my hard work and dedication. It is greatly appreciated and I will continue to serve well".
