BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, DECEMBER 3RD 2013 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has expressed satisfaction with the progress made to expand the Arrivals Hall at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.
“I am extremely satisfied with the progress that has been made with the expansion of the Arrivals Hall. Our aim is to ensure that our nationals, residents and visitors who use the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport do so in comfort,” Prime Minister Douglas said in a brief interview with the Communications Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister (CUOPM).
Most of the work has been completed with just the additional four positions for immigration officers to be installed.
The new space will have the capacity to accommodate an additional 200 passengers.
Three additional flat screen monitors have also been installed.
The renovation is the one of a phased series to reconfigure and modernise the airport terminal.
