BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 9th, 2013 -- SKELEC maintenance crews will begin some upgrade work on underground cable for the Industrial Site.
In the vicinity of the old SSMC train crossing (line gate) and the Needmust Power Station all road users are asked to drive carefully as road crews will be dredging the road in the area for the laying of the cable.
One lane of traffic may be possible at times, therefore all road users are asked to drive with caution as there will be workers and equipment in the area.
SKELEC apologises for any inconvenience this may cause. However, this work is necessary for us to continue to provide safe and reliable electricity service to all our customers.
