Basseterre, St. Kitts (July 27, 2005): The Early Childhood Unit was the recent recipient of another donation from Pastor Eugene Springette of the Temple Church in Dieppe Bay.

The donation includes hand towels, crayons and a variety of manipulatives . The Early Childhood Development Co-ordinator Mrs. Vanta Walters informed SKNIS that the items will be distributed to the centers adopted by the church.

She said that earlier this year Pastor Springette donated one thousand dollars to each of the three centres including Saddlers Nursery, Dieppe Bay Day Care Centre and St. Pauls Nursery.

In the past the donation has gone towards purchasing toys, manipulatives and other needed items for the centers. Pastor Springette is very delighted that he was able to make these donations and assured the Unit Staff that more will be forthcoming.

The Early Childhood Development Unit expressed its gratitude for the magnanimity of  Pastor Springette and his church and their continued collaboration on behalf of the Nations children.
