Fellow Citizens we have come one full year of under a deceitful and illegitimate government that has taken our nation to the lowest ebb; so law that we are being described as the most corrupt government in the post-colonial Caribbean.
While we teach our children to be honest, we have members of the Executive Branch of government living a life of dishonesty, deceitfulness and in direct contravention of the sacred oaths taken before God and man. They provide no good example for us and for our children to follow.
During the year we joined forces with members of PLP and CCM to form a united team to bring about the change that we need so that hope and opportunity can be restored to all including the very least among us.
We are committed to the reduction of VAT; the reduction of housing costs; the removal of the costs for early childhood education; the introduction of Comprehensive Health Care; the payments of the remaining millions to the displaced sugar workers; equity in delivering of all just due to our Nevisian family and to institutionalizing good governance measures and practices among other things.
As we approach another Christmas I express my conviction that the future will be bright under a new administration and I urge each of you to work with us and help to rescue our Nation before it is too late.
I therefore urge you to choose hope, integrity, servant leadership, inclusion, and UNITY.
May you enjoy a Merry Christmas and experience a change for prosperity in 2014.
