BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IT will now all come down to a new venue to host, yet again, another International Night on Saturday (Jan. 18) to conclude this season’s Sugar Mas’42 celebration.

According to Chairman of the National Carnival Committee, Sylvester Anthony, the group is currently in talks about having a held over Concert on January 18, but this would depend on a new venue so as to avoid another cancellation.

“The 18th is not confirmed as yet. We are hoping to have the concert on that date because all of the artistes have agreed to come back on that date and do another show. But, like I said, it will all depend on the venue.”

The Chairman revealed to SKNVibes Entertainment that if a decision on a new venue were not met within a certain timeframe there would be no International Night for Sugar Mas’42.

“We can’t risk another cancellation, so it all comes down to the venue,” he added.

It is still however unclear if the show will be set at cost or provided free to patrons, but we will keep you posted as the details are provided.
