    CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - A JUVENILE appeared in the Charlestown Magistrate’s Court today to answer charges of possession of cannabis with intent to supply and possession of a quantity of control drugs.

     

    The girl pleaded guilty to the first charge and not guilty to the latter.

     

    The matter was set for February 10 after her mother successfully asked the court to adjourn until her lawyer was consulted.

     

    In that same court Kenneth Jones of Fountain Village pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis. He was fined $1 500 to be paid in 4 months, or spend three months in prison.

     

    Joseph Belgrove of the same village also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and was fined $2000.  He was given six months to pay or serve six months in prison.

     

    Meanwhile, Danny Galloway of Westbury also pleaded guilty to the charge of cannabis and was fined $800 which must be paid in two month or he will be jailed for two months.
