ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, Jan 20, 2014 - The Caribbean airline, LIAT, conveyed its condolences and support to a Guyanese carrier which suffered a fatal crash of one of its planes over the weekend.
In a message on behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of LIAT, acting CEO Mrs. Julie Reifer-Jones said she "receives with deep regret the news of the death of two people following the crash of a Trans Guyana plane on Saturday January 18, 2014."
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the captain and his lone passenger who both perished in the crash," Mrs. Reifer-Jones said.
