“St Kitts Marriott says “Thank You” to Melford Henry”

    (February 2009)  The St Kitts Marriott Resort has always maintained that building strong communities takes teamwork. Solutions to complex, and often long-standing problems depend upon a multitude of resources, talents, and expertise. No single company or individual can supply all the answers.     Recently the St Kitts Marriott was faced with one such challenge as a guest approached our Loss Prevention Department with the misplacement of her camera. She was not sure where, however she was in procession of the camera during her activities earlier that morning.

     

    Our LP Manager retraced her steps and decided to call around to the places that she had visited earlier that day. One of those calls was to the taxi stand in Frigate Bay. After placing the call, taxi operator Melford Henry, Owner/Operator of T2560, contacted the resort. He said after his numerous duties that morning, the camera was found in his vehicle; however he could not recall which of his customers had left it in his taxi.

     

    When he heard that the St Kitts Marriott was trying to locate the camera and the description being that of the camera in his possession, he promptly came to the hotel and returned it to the LP Manager. By 8pm that evening the ecstatic guest was handed her camera.
