TDC Service Technicians receive CANON Certifications

    Basseterre, St. Kitts - One of the world’s leading office machinery manufacturers has awarded the Service Technicians of the TDC Business Equipment Departments on St. Kitts and Nevis with CANON Certifications subsequent to two (2) intensive training modules held in 2008.

     

    In an official correspondence from the CANON Latin America Headquarters in Miami Florida, Mr. Akihiko Matsumaru, the President of the Company said, “we are very pleased to recognize the need for authorized factory-trained technicians. It is our pleasure to present Certificates of Accomplishment that the Service Technicians have duly earned.”

     

    The outstanding Service Professionals all received excellent passes in the following areas:

     

    Canon Class Applied Technology
    Mr. Clayton Douglas - St. Kitts
    Mr. Asim Powell - St. Kitts
    Mr. Veon Martin - St. Kitts
    Mr. Vere Clarke - Nevis

    In response to the good news, Mr. Percival Hanley, General Manager of the City Drug Store (2005) Limited (of which the Service Department is a Unit) beamed with delight, as he noted the significance of the qualifications and the benefit to their many Customers/Clients.

     

    “We are very proud of our technicians. We view this training as an investment, as well as, an opportunity fostering   professional development and brings about improved levels of Customer/Client satisfaction”, stated Hanley.

     

    He also added that the technicians will participate in the 2009 CANON Certification Programme, which is expected to begin shortly to continue the efforts of enhancing the staff’s technical knowledge of several other CANON products that are now readily available on the local market.

     

    The City Drug Store (2005) Limited on St. Kitts and the TDC Business Equipment Department on Nevis are the authorized agents for a number of CANON products such as, copiers, printers, scanners, and facsimile machines.
