    Basseterre, St. Kitts (August 17, 2005): Officials of the Ministry of Youth Affairs will be among organisations meeting Boys Brigade Officer and Executive member of Global Fellowship of Christian Youth of the United Kingdom Mr Stephen Lane during a week long visit to the Federation which starts today.
    The main purpose o the visit, which starts today, is to meet with the executive committee of the Boys Brigade Eastern and Southern Caribbean Regional Fellowship about their five year development plan.
     
    Lane was appointed as Interim Consultant to the regions Boys Brigade by Global Fellowship of Christian Youth after Regional Coordinator Theodore Brown outlines the development plan in Singapore last June.
     
    He will be working with the regions executive in an advisory capacity.
     
    The five year development plan will, among other things, increase membership, training opportunities, new programmes for the boys, construction of an interactive website, and a physical office.
     

    The regional Fellowship executive committee will meet Friday August 19th at the Board Room of the Foundation for National Development. Mr. Lane will meet  with that committee on Saturday 20th and Sunday August 21st.

     

     
    During his visit he will also meet with representatives of the church and the St. Kitts Boys Brigade Island Council.
