CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – THE Brown Hill Communication Employee Advisory Committee on Friday (Feb. 13) presented an EC$2 000 cheque to Joslyn Wilkinson who lost her Cotton Ground home to a mid-morning fire on December 30.

The cheque was presented by Shenel Newton, Chairperson of the Committee, who said one of the company’s goals is to give back to the community. She declared that ways of giving back include adopting Ivor Walters Primary, St. John’s Primary and the Special Education Unit.

Newton said that Valentia Wilkinson, a student of the Special Education Unit, was one of the fire victims and special consideration was taken when donating the cheque to the family.

Joslyn Wilkinson welcomed the donation and promised to make very special use of it.
