BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – KITTITIAN contractor Stephen Baker was all smiles yesterday (Mar. 1) when he learnt that he was the winner of TDC’s raffle and that his prize was a brand new vehicle.
The stage was set and a number of Executives of the TDC Group of Companies converged at the First Caribbean Bank - Baker’s place of employment - to surprise him with the 2014 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
Although speechless during the moments immediately after he learnt of his win, Baker said this was a long time coming as he is a loyal and dedicated customer of TDC.
SKNVibes understands that the long-time customer would shop at stores in both St Kitts and Nevis and as fate would have it, he won with a coupon entered from his last trip to Nevis.
“I have been shopping with TDC for a very long time even when I go to Nevis… and so I’m very pleased to that I won something a very valuable prize, to the directors and staff of TDC I say thank you.”
He recounted how he began shopping at TDC in excess of 20 years ago. He said the Group provides quality service and exceptional prices which are comparable to those of the popular online shopping sites.

I have been shopping at TDC for the longest while..even when I built my house in 1991 I had an account opened there and just after I left the bank and doing maintenance I still have my account there. Marketing Assistant of TDC Dominic Matthew explained that the promotion started last year in celebration of the Group’s 40th Anniversary and culminated with the presentation of the grand prize.
He said under the celebration customers were presented with prizes every 40 days. Customers were given an additional month to drop off their coupons with the deadline being pushed back, from January’s end to the beginning of March.
“On the 1st February 2013, the TDC group of companies celebrated its 40th anniversary and we launched our 40th anniversary raffle where every 40th day, one lucky TDC customer from St Kitts and Nevis would have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes. For every $40 maximum that was spent at the Home and Building Depot in St Kitts and Nevis, TDC Automotive division, an entry form was received... If you were a mega card holder, you got two entries into the raffle.”
He noted that yesterday’s draw is the 10th and customers can expect bigger and better promotions for TDC’s next anniversary celebrations.
“Customers can continue to expect additional incentives to build on this one since this one has created some hype.”
Matthew said customers should look out for other promotions this month.
