Basseterre, St. Kitts (Tuesday March 4, 2014) – At the recently held 2014 Oscars, "Happy" from "Despicable Me” won the award for Best Music (Original Song). Using this very sound track by Pharrell Williams, Digicel St. Kitts & Nevis took up the mantle and successfully created the SKNHappy version. Within one week of launch, the high-engery Digicel SKNHappy music video received thousands of online views, likes and comments and continues to impact positively on those whom watch it.
Digicel St. Kitts & Nevis continues to honour every day people doing extraordinary things. This time, the dynamic telecommunications provider took to the streets of St. Kitts and Nevis, in search of answers to a simple question, What Makes You Smile?
Always greeted with a smile at Rams Supermarket in Bird Rock? Then perhaps you would know this familiar face, many whom simply refer to as “Miss Williams.”
Digicel Marketing Manager, Marsha Chatterjee, explains the reason for the SKNHappy Campaign is “because communication is what we’re all about. We enjoy interacting with our customers and actively encourage them to participate in and feel a part of the Digicel family. Their involvement is what drives us to always reach higher and do more.”
Digicel’s Smile Campaign has moved to a higher level on Social Media, whereby every Friday during the month of March, customers in St. Kitts & Nevis will be celebrated for being selfless, outstanding citizens. Details of the awards and how to submit nominations of “Extraordinary Kittitians and Nevisians” can be found by visiting Digicel’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/digicelstkittsandnevis. .
