Kingstown, St.Vincent (New Democratic Party of St. Vincent & the Grenadines March 6th ) -- The Hon. Leader of Team Unity Dr. Timothy Harris arrived in St. Vincent and the Grenadines ON Thursday  morning March 6, 2014 to begin a short solidarity visit to St.Vincent and the Grenadines to meet with Opposition Leader Hon. Arnhim Eustace and his  NDP. Dr Harris was met by party Public Relations Officer  Senator Vynnette Frederick.

This visit with the SVG Opposition New Democratic Party comes in the aftermath of Hon. Arnhim Eustace scathing criticism of the Leadership of Caricom in a press statement some weeks ago . Hon. Eustace chastised CARICOM for failing to address the situation in St. Kitts-Nevis.

As it stands Dr Denzil Douglas sits as a Minority Prime Minister commanding just 5 of the eleven elected seats in the Parliament while Dr. Timothy HARRIS and his Team Unity, a coalition of three political parties holding 6 elected seats in the Assembly speak for the majority of the SKN Parliament.

According to NDP  Senator Vynette Frederick The NDP has been following the St. Kitts Nevis issue with much interest and has been steadfast in its call for CARICOM to step in to resolve the situation as it stands in the small country. Mr Eustace and Dr. Harris will appear on St.Vincent Radio’s NDP Nighttime tonight Thursday 6th March from 8:00 p.m. The programme can be heard online www.niceradio.info
