Basseterre, St. Kitts (August 20, 2005): Residents between the communities of Ottleys and Phillips can interact with members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) during a walkthrough on Monday evening.
Group members will present information, distribute handouts and discuss the August 24 to 26 workshop for the CARICOM Youth Ambassador (CYA) administered Mini-Grants Programme. The Lodge Community Centre is the venue for this course which features the training of 25 young persons from the abovementioned area, in community mapping.

Its important for persons living in these areas to know who we are and what will be taking place in their community, TWG head Pierre Liburd explained. Theres going to be a number of practical and interactive exercises involving residents and cooperation will be key.

The walkthrough by committee members is designed to promote cooperation. The media will also be utilized in a promotional campaign. These include appearances on WINN FMs Breakfast with Toni on Monday and Upfront on ZIZ Television on Tuesday. Additional information can be obtained from the Department of Youth via telephone 465-2521 ext 1393.
