BASSETERRE St. Kitts, March 21st, 2014 -- SKELEC would like to inform all its customers in Gillard’s Meadow St. Peter’s that they will be conducting line tests on Saturday March 22nd between 9 am and 4pm. During this time there will be temporary loss of electricity supply to customers.
During these test SKELEC maintenance crews members will be going from resident to resident checking service lines (the connection between pole and customer meter). Each customer service line, in the area, will be tested and after the test the customer will be reconnected to the grid.
We are asking customers if they can be home at the time so that we can verify that there is electricity supply in the home when it is reconnected.
SKELEC apologises to residents in the area, however, tests like these are necessary in our continuing efforts to provide safe and reliable electricity supply while improving our overall service to you our customers.
