BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – JUST two weeks after being acquitted in the Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams’ murder case, Shane Williams will have to face the Court again next month after he was slapped with another murder charge.
According to the Jamaican Observer, after Justice Lennox acquitted Williams of the murder charge, police notified him that he would be charged for an alleged murder that took place in Gregory Park, St. Catherine, which was said to have been committed before Clive Williams was murdered.
A relative, who contacted the media house said, “Them just don't want to see him free. Everybody know him never have nothing to do with Lizard killing. That's why the jury let him go. Why dem a persecute the youth so? It no right man.”
The Observer also reported that a police source said Williams was charged with murder on January 29 and would face the Court on April 8.
Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, Shawn 'Storm' Campbell, Kahira Jones and Andre St. John are presently in jail and are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow (Mar. 27) for their sentencing hearing.
On Thursday (Mar. 13), the four men were found guilty of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams’ murder and could possibly be in prison for 20 years before being eligible for parole.
