PAM Opens Constituency Office in Cayon

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts –St. Kitts-Nevis’ main opposition party the  People’s Action Movement continues to ride it’s  exciting CHANGE EXPRESS as the first of two PAM Constituency offices was opened Saturday (February 21st)  in Cayon.

     

    The opening ceremony saw all 8 PAM candidates for the upcoming general elections as well as hundreds of  supporters  most of whom took part in a massive whistle-stop through the constituency which preceded the opening.

     

    Mr. Eugene Hamilton, PAM representative for the area was resoundingly greeted by the large and very appreciative crowd as fellow Cayonite and PAM Party national spokesperson Chesley Hamilton introduced the experienced and very popular  lifelong Cayon resident  . Mr. Hamilton expressed his desire to improve the quality of life for all his constituents and outlined some of this plans for the area when elected.

     

    “CHANGE means electing leaders who believe in and can deliver service that is nothing less than C-Country above self, H-Honesty, A-Altruism, N-Nation Building, G-Good Governance, E-Empowerment,”  said Hamilton . “Such CHANGE is conspicuous as it reflects itself in an improved quality of life among  the masses , especially among  those who are the poorest among us. In other words such CHANGE is bottom up and not top down.” Hamilton continued. “The People’s Action Movement offers CHANGE from the bottom up,” the PAM representative concluded.

     

    Mr. Hamilton indicated that  among his primary concerns is to physically enhance all the communities in the constituency including, Cayon, Keys, Conaree and St.Peters in addition to placing much emphasis  on developing the constituency’s human resource.

     

    Hamilton’s lifelong contribution to the development of the Cayon community as well as the nation was also highlighted. He was Chairman of the St. Mary’s Parks Committee and President of the Canyon Dance Movement. In terms of sporting development he fulfilled the role of President for both the Cayon Football Club and the Rural East Football Association. He was also the Manager of the Cayon 1st Division Football Team.

     

    According to an official from PAM’s  Public Relations Office a 2nd office will soon be opened in St.Peters  within the next few weeks. PAM continues its so called CHANGE Express this Thursday night as it  pulls  in to Constituency #6 ,Parsons Village for another exciting public meeting. 

     

    Miss PAM 2007 Shanoy O’Loughlin joined Hamilton and PAM Party Leader Mr. Lindsay Grant in the cutting of the ribbon to officially open the office.
