BASSETERRE St. Kitts, April 15th, 2014 -- 5 minute Video which highlights three historic and memorable moments in the inconic life of the first Prime Minister of St.Kitts-Nevis the Rt. Hon . Dr Sir Kennedy A Simmonds.
The Video features clippings of his historic speech at the country's Indpependence Day Ceremony where he received the instrument of Independence from Princess Magaret thus symbolising the birth of a new nation.
The Video also features clips from the Official Flag Raising ceremony at the United Nations where St.Kitts-Nevis was accepted in the the international body for the first time as an Independent Country.
The final moment is a clip of Sir Simmonds' speech welcoming Nelson Mandela to the Caribbean as the then Chairman of Caricom in 1991.
