BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - IN its continued thrust of honouring its hard-working and dedicated employees, Kajola Kristada has named Esmie Clarke its March 2014 Employee of the Month (EoM).
The announcement was made recently and SKNVibes visited the factory to glean from Clarke her thoughts on the award.
The first-time winner has been working with the company for the past 14 years and operates on the Mini Initial Line.
Asked her feelings on her win, Clarke explained that she always believed she was deserving of the award but because of time she may have taken to run personal errands she was never fortunate to capture the title...until now.
“(To win), I had to be early, on time for work, I could not be absent and I had to do my work well. It was a push towards winning by not going out on personal business. Because, if you miss a day or couple of hours to go down town to come back, that would hurt your chances of winning.
“I always thought I was deserving of it but because they said I was out too often, I never won it. I am a good worker.”
Clarke expressed gratitude to her supervisor Beulah Belle “for choosing my name to be the Employee of the Month for March”.
