Bird Rock, May 5, 2014 (SCASPA) - Participants of the fourth annual SCASPA's Best in Class High School Quiz Competition will compete on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. The Authority is expecting another keenly contested competition that will not only raise its profile but challenge students to demonstrate their academic abilities.
Twenty-four students from Basseterre High, Cayon High, Charles E. Mills Secondary, Saddlers Secondary, Verchilds High and Washington Archibald High will be participating in this year's competition.
The Competition which will take place on every Tuesday and Thursday night in the month of May will quiz the participants on the core subject areas of the third form curriculum - English Language, Integrated Science, Mathematics, Local History and Geography, Current Affairs and Wild. Students will also be quizzed on questions on SCASPA’s operations.
All rounds of the competition will be held in the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. Elimination rounds begin at 7:00 p.m., and the Grand Finale will start at 8:00 p.m.
