BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IN the wake of a disparaging comment posted on SKNVibes’ website under an article headlined “SKNVibes apologies to Erasmus Williams”, Williams, the Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, today (May 12) informed this publication of the comment and sought its removal, among other demands.
The comment, which has since been removed, was posted by an individual with the screen name Tortola.
As was said in the previous apology about the article, “Discrimination through the eyes of a differently-abled man”, SKNVibes does not think it appropriate to repeat the derogatory comment. Therefore, on behalf of management of SKNVibes.com, the Editor-in-Chief once again humbly apologises to Mr. Erasmus Williams for any inconvenience or embarrassment that the publication of the comment may have caused.
Mamagement would also like to take this opportunity to inform readers to refrain from making derogatory statements/remarks about individuals, places and thinks when posting comments.
Further, SKNVibes would like to remind visitors to its website that comments are not pre-screened before posted, and that this online media house encourages courteous discussions as long as you follow the Rules of Conduct set forth in its Terms of Service. Therefore, violaters of the Rules of Conduct will be banned from posting comments.
