BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, May 14th 2014 (TUCOM):-The people of St. Kitts and Nevis are eagerly awaiting the next Listening Tour put on by the Team Unity. Three weeks ago, in a packed and overflowing Newtown Community Centre, Team Unity launched its first island wide Listening Tour in Constituency #1. Since then Team Unity has visited Constituency #3. On Thursday of this week, Team Unity will be in Tabernacle, a stronghold of its Leader, Dr the Hon Timothy Harris. Dr Harris has been convincingly elected in every general election since 1993.
The Listening Tours have been well received by the people. The turnout has been excellent. The Listening Tours have allowed citizens and residents to engage in face to face conversations with their next Prime Minister, Dr the Hon Timothy Harris and the members of his incoming Cabinet. It has provided invaluable interactive sessions in which attendees pose questions to the incoming government and get real time responses to their queries. Persons can also raise matters or issues which they consider important.
In addition to those in attendance, the wider national community and persons overseas can follow the consultative forums /Listening Tours of Team Unity by tuning in to Winnfm Radio at 98.9FM. Thursday’s forum is slated to commence at 7:30 p.m sharp.
Nationals in St.Martin can tune into Radio St.Martin for liver coverage from 9pm. The people of Belle Vue, Tabernacle, Mansion, Christ Church, Phillips, Bourryeau, Lodge Village, Lodge Project and Ottleys are expected to turnout in large numbers to participate in the third in the series of Listening Tours put on by Team Unity.
The Tours so far have been issues based. Team Unity has been meeting its plans to repair the social and economic fabric of our country and restore democracy and good governance.
