Basseterre, St. Kitts: Friday 20th June -- In 2011 LIME partnered with the Healthy Caribbean Coalition (HCC) in a petition to raise awareness on Cancer and assisted in successfully raising over 70,000 signatures as an expression of interest. This year, LIME has once again partnered with the HCC to assist with its Cervical Cancer electronic petition.
This petition is aimed at securing some 50,000 “signatures” as a means of requesting Heads of Government of the Caribbean to be more effective in the prevention, control and treatment of cervical cancer. Thus far with LIME’s assistance they have gathered a little over 11,000 signatures.
In support this noteworthy cause, LIME St. Kitts & Nevis Ltd is encouraging all to visit www.endcervicalcancernow.org to sign this e-petition.
