BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 12TH 2014 (CUOPM) – Federal Government offices in St. Kitts and Nevis will close early on Wednesday and Thursday.
Following a decision at Monday’s Cabinet meeting, the Federation’s Prime Minister the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas made the disclosure during his weekly radio programme “Ask the Prime Minister” on Tuesday morning.
“All public offices will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14, to allow civil servants to attend the semi-finals of the Limacol Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 tournament at Warner Park Cricket Stadium,” said Prime Minister Douglas.
He said that business houses are expected to close early o both days as well to allow their workers to attend the matches.
The matches are as follows:
1st Semi-Final: Tallawahs v Red Steel at Warner Park Cricket Stadium, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
