By: Deli Caines Bussue, Press Secretary

CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS-  Charlestown was busy with activity as two cruise ships anchored in its harbour on Monday.

The 10,000- ton Sea Bourne Legend arrived from St.Thomas, USVI with 193 passengers, while the 4,260- ton Sea Dream with 107 passengers arrived from Virgin Gorda, B.V.I. Both passenger ships were docked at 8:00 am and departed from Charlestown at 6:00p.m.

Most of the passengers on the ships disembarked and went on historical sightseeing tours via taxis and tour buses. While some passengers shopped, went sun and sea-bathing, hiking, horse-back riding, snorkeling or sampled some of the local restaurants’ island cuisine.

At 6:00p.m sharp the loud horn echoed from The Sea Bourne Legend as it sailed for St. Lucia, while the Sea Dream headed to its next port of call, the Dutch island of Saba.

The agent for both vessels was Delisle Walwyn.
