Team Unity laments St. Kitts 2nd to last ranking in Tourism Arrivals

BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (TUCOM):- Statistics released by the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) in August 2014 have revealed that comparatively speaking the St. Kitts Tourism product is under performing and doing very badly as far as stay-over arrivals are concerned. Stay-over arrivals account for more than 95 percent of all tourist receipts in the English speaking Caribbean.
Reporting on tourist (stay-over) arrivals in 2014, Caribbean Tourism Organisation is showing stay-over arrivals down in 2014 by 4.2 percent when compared to the same period in 2013. The second largest decline reported by any CTO member state. The statistics for St. Kitts capture the January to March period for Stay-over arrivals. The table below speaks for itself.
