The Youth Department in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce held a "National Call for Papers for Youth Entrepreneurship Conference" at the Foundation for National Development (FND) Conference Room, yesterday, Wednesday September 7th.

According to Dave Connor, senior youth officer within the Department of Youth said that they are calling on all stakeholders who are in favor of youth entrepreneurship to come on board and share their ideas, information on what they've done in the past, how they have dealt with certain issues and what contingencies they have put in place.

"We are hoping out of this we can be able to have a game plan of sorts establish and also a map showing us what's happening in different areas to maybe form a more effective force within the field of entrepreneurship," he said.

"We're also hoping to get from the young people that are here some ideas of what they see the problems are and what is deterring them from entering the field of entrepreneurship," he added.
