BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - CONGRATULATIONS are in order for entrepreneur Deon Daniel of Nevis, who was recently presented with an award from the Nevis Association in Washington, DC, for his vast contribution to the development of the real estate sector on Nevis.
Founder and Managing Director of Deon and Associates, Daniel has made an invaluable and indelible contribution to the advancement of the island – and by extension St. Kitts – through his business which develops high-end and affordable homes on Nevis.
The plaque which was recently presented reads, “The Nevisian Association of Washington, DC 2014 honours Deon & Associates Limited…From humble beginnings, you have built and lead a formidable team, which has transformed real estate development in Nevis. Through your delivery of a superior product, and superior customer service, you have significantly helped to carve out a place for Nevis as a preferred destination. We salute you.”
The experience of Deon and Associates stretches to close to 20 years and in 1995, they embarked on a journey of constructing homes at Paradise Estate for those clients seeking for a tranquil and peaceful dwelling place. That project has seen the completion of close to 30 homes.
And with their sights clearly set on further advancement, Daniel and his team began work at Fern Hill Estate Development which boasts 50 deluxe homes. The homes not only afford their residents the joy and comfort of the indoor ambiance but they take full advantage of the breath-taking scenery which can be experienced at the simple turn of a door knob.
Daniel and his team were the first to construct condominiums on Nevis and these now form part of what is known as the Nelson Spring Beach Villas and Spa. The 24 condos share a fitness centre, office building, pool, beach bar and spa among other things.
The forward-thinking Nevisian has plans afoot for two new developments which should become a reality in the not-too-distant future.
For his work in real estate, Daniel has received a number of awards including the Caribbean Travel and Living Award in 2010 and in 2013 was named “Developer of the Year”.
