Bronte Welsh Primary continued their winning ways when they defeated Cayon Primary 5 Nil in Newtown on Tuesday. Kaylon Liburd’s hat-trick and a brace (2) from Omarion Rawlins gave Bronte Welsh maximum points.
Jahkeem Morton’s hattrick supported with goals from Shervin King and T’Quan Mc Dowell enable Dr Williams Connor Primary to a 5-1 victory over Edgar T. Morris Primary. Bishon Buchanan scored the lone goal for Edgar T. Morris.
Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary defeated Sandy Point Primary 3 Nil with a double from Kvaun Wattley and one from Troy Natta.
Dean Glasford was victorious over Maurice Hiller Memorial Junior School 4 Nil. Deshaun Collins scored 2 goals and one each from Diandre Nisbett and Kejahne Harvey.
Zone 2
Tucker Clarke Primary won 3-1 over Dieppe Bay Primary. Landrick Jones scored 2 goals and was supported by Cecil Maldonado (1).
Keshaun Herbert scored the lone goal for Dieppe Bay.
ICCS defeated Saddlers Primary School 5-1. Cayden Bass had a hat-trick with 1 goal each from Sudan Wilson and Dion Dolphin.
Saddler’s goal came from Rasheed Morris.
The days round of matches was capped off with an exciting match-up between Irish Town Primary and Newton Ground Primary. At half time it was 1-1, however at the end of the match Irish Town Primary won 5-3. For Irish Town Jaheem Nisbett had 2 goals and one each from Kennedy Rodriguez and Akilondre Benjamin. Newton Ground goal scorers were Khaleb Morris with 2 goals and Kael Newton 1.
Under 14 Males
Chrislorn Baptiste double in the 26th and 50th minutes and strikes from Nigwone Nicholls in the 4th minute, Rohan Powell in the 20th minute and Adrian Tobias in the 68th minute gave Washington Archibald High School a 5-2 victory over Charles E. Mills Secondary. Shemar Douglas scored both goals for Charles E. Mills Secondary in the 44th and 73rd minutes.
