Basseterre, St.Kitts- 8th November, 2014- The organizers of the Kart Part Olympics, S.P.I.R.I.T announced today that the 5th Annual Kart Part Olympics planned for Sunday 9th November, 2014, in Sandy Point has been canceled due to the inclement weather.
We have been monitoring the situation and in light of the recent report from the RLB MET office advising that the weather situation might persist for several days, we have taken a decision to cancel our event.
Kart Part Olympics forms part of the activities that S.P.I.R.I.T hosts for the Chambalay festivities, surrounding the Guy Fawkes weekend. Kart Part Olympics is designed to re-ignite ancestral traditional games and past times that involves both the young and old.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience incurred and look forward to your support and patronage next year.
