Basseterre, St.Kitts (TUCOM-Jan 13th) - The entire Executive, Members and Supporters of all partners in the Tri-Party Alliance Team UNITY on St.Kitts-Nevis takes this opportunity to express our profound grief and share in the sadness of the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines following the tragic vehicular accident which claimed the lives of a number of persons including school children.
We are saddened over the loss of lives from this unfortunate and tragic accident, and therefore our deep sense of sadness, sympathy and condolence go out to the families and friends of all those who have lost their loved ones.
“We stand united in your grief and share your pain during this trying time. We however find some solace in the fact that that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will rescue you from the mental burden of this tragic loss and pain which the people of St.Vincent and the Grenadines and the entire Caribbean Community are now enduring,” said Team UNITY Leader Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris.
“On behalf of Team UNITY and the people of St.Kitts-Nevis we extend to the Government and People of St.Vincent and the Grenadines and in particular the bereaved and grieving families our profound sympathy for your loss and we will constantly and fervently keep you in our prayers ,” Dr. Harris concluded.

A bus carrying mostly school children overturned and plunged into the sea along the country’s north-eastern coast on Monday. Official reports say five persons were killed, fourteen were hospitalised and two remain missing.
