EVENT: OPENING CEREMONY – OCEANS HEALTH INDEX WORKSHOP
BACKGROUND: The Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour strives to manage the Territory’s natural resources in a manner that ensures long term sustainability. The Workshop is aimed at recognising and identifying the manner in which international assessments of ocean health can complement local management objectives. The workshop will also assist in identifying the index’s local application to the Virgin Islands’ sustainable development efforts.
