Basseterre, St. Kitts (TUCOM-February 7th 2015):- It was a day where it became even more evident that a CHANGE is coming to St. Kitts-Nevis. Hundreds turned out in various Constituencies in support of their Team UNITY Candidates. The Buzz electrifying and the mood joyous and full of anticipation for the FRESH Start that is set to come on February 17th 2015.
Ian Patches Liburd started the Nomination activity just before 11a.m. when he and scores of supporters marched through the streets of Newtown around the Independence Square then to the place of Nomination which was the Police Headquarters at Lozack Road.
Jonel Powell was also accompanied by scores of supporters as he marched along to the Old Girl School. Hon. Sam Condor and his entourage journeyed to the St. Johnston Village Police Station with his supporters.
Lindsay Grant, Hon. Shawn K. Richards, Vernon Connor were nominated at their various nomination venues all with similar fanfare and support.
Team UNITY Leader and next Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris was nominated at the Cayon Police station. Dr. Harris was accompanied by a tremendous show of support from residents of Cayon and other constituents in the new Constituency 7. Hon. Eugene Hamilton lent his support to Dr. Harris and was a part of the carnival-like atmosphere of the nomination of Dr. Harris.
All 11 candidates of Team UNITY were nominated on Friday.
Recent Polls have all shown that there will be a new Team UNITY government with or without Old or New Boundaries.
The Team UNITY Manifesto which outlines the historic “Prosperity Agenda” will be launched on Monday night on Wigley Ave in Constituency#3.
