COURT CONVICTION
Oliver weeks of Lower Monkey Hill was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 21st August 2014, and fined $6000.00 to be paid in four(4) months or in default will serve six (6) months in prison.
Jamba Williams was also convicted for Possession of Cannabis and cautioned.
Steve Warde alias “Dangles" of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point was convicted for the offences of Being Armed With An Offensive Weapon and Giving False Name, which were committed on 2nd August 2014, at Sandy Point; Praedial larceny which was committed on 12th October, 2014 at Sandy Point; Resisting Arrest, Battery on Police and Malicious Damage which were committed on the 22nd November, 2014 at Sandy Point; Possession of Cannabis and Arm With An Offensive Weapon which were committed on 5th November, 2014 at Sandy Point. He was sentenced to serve two months in prison with hard labour on all charges; sentences will run concurrently with each other.
Kamarli Mills of Pond's Extension, Basseterre, was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention which was committed on 8th, April 2014, along the island main road at Saddlers village, and fined of $600.00 which is to be paid by 24th April, 2015 or in default serve thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour.
ARREST
Gino Morton of Hanley’s Road was formally arrested, charged and cautioned for the offence and Possession of cannabis, which occurred on the 10th April 2015. Morton was bailed and is scheduled to make an appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on Wednesday 15th April 2015.
Dexter Small of Main Street, Lower Cayon was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Trespassing, which was committed on Wednesday 8th April, 2015 at Osbourne Street, Cayon.
Livingstone Sturge of Brown Pasture was formally arrested and charged for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny, which was committed on 22nd February 2015.
Kemo Sancho of Ramsbury was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Wounding.
