By: Terresa McCall, SKNVibes

BASSETERRE; ST. KITTS – A cloud of gloom hovers over the Federation as news of the stabbing death of a 14-year-old from Cayon spread across the islands.

Reports reaching SKNVibes indicate that Bejay Dore of Warner Street, Cayon lost his life earlier this afternoon after allegedly being involved in an altercation with another individual of similar or lesser age.

The incident is said to have transpired at Maynard’s Park, Cayon, where the teenager reportedly received what has been described as a “long stab wound” to his neck. After being stabbed, according to unconfirmed reports, he ran from the area onto Warner Street and into his yard and collapsed.

Other reports suggest that one of his younger relatives ran into the slain youth’s home to inform his brother of what transpired.

The lad, who is said to be a second form student at the Cayon High School, died on the scene and his body was removed by the Jenkins Funeral Home.

Members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force are making investigations into the incident.

After his lifeless body was removed from the scene, several individuals of various ages gathered outside the youngster’s yard to view the blood-stained area where his brief existence came to an abrupt end.

SKNVibes understands his parents to be Jennifer Julius and Bertie Dore.

Bejay Dore is the Federation’s ninth murder victim for the year.
