Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 1, 2015 (SKNIS): Mary Gilbert a 54 year old resident at the Cardin Home died today.  

She was reported missing at 5am.  After an extensive search in the West Basseterre area, her body was discovered at Lime Kiln Bay. 

An immediate autopsy confirmed death by drowning.  

The Government wishes to assure the public that this unfortunate incident is under investigation.  

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Ms. Gilbert during this time.  May God’s peace be with you.
