BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (May 22, 2015) – On Friday May 22, representatives of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited presented a cheque for $7,500.00 in name of the Joseph N. France General Hospital.  The cheque was issued in sponsorship of the upcoming 3rd Annual Medical Students Concert hosted by students of the Windsor University School of Medicine.  The purpose of the concert is to raise funds to secure new equipment for the hospital.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the hospital were Dr. Cameron Wilkinson, Chief Medical Surgeon and Dr. Natalie Osborne flanked by medical students.

Presenting the cheque for National Bank were Mrs. Shirna Pemberton & Sabina Vaughan.  The Ladies expressed the Bank’s pleasure in being able to sponsor this event at this time particularly as it serves such a worthy cause.   According to Ms Vaughan, “We believe that corporate citizens across the Federation should embrace opportunities such as these that promote health and wellness among our people”.

Dr. Wilkinson expressed gratitude to National for its outpouring of generosity to the hospital and was happy to laud the Bank’s contribution for the third consecutive year.  He stated that he reminds his students about the importance of giving back to the institution of their learning.   “This is just one way that they give back”, said Dr. Wilkinson.
