BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – PERSONS looking for a classic West Indian Easter brunch this coming Sunday (Apr. 12) should head to Diamond Cut, Marshalls at the Sugar Bay Club in Frigate Bay for an unbelievable meal at an even less believable price.

Tables will be set with a traditional Kittitian Easter Buffet at 11 a.m. and the restaurant will remain open until 4 p.m.

A starter of conkie and roasted breadfruit is certain to bring back that feeling of Easters gone by, as well as prepare customers for a scrumptious holiday meal.

The main courses at the Diamond Cut brunch will all begin with the components of any real Kittitian meal—sweet potato wedges, seasoned rice, rice and peas and Johnny cakes. An extremely wide variety of savoury meat options will round out the main course, including Escoveitch fish, roast brisket, Chicken Chasseur, Callaloo lasagne and a long time Caribbean favourite, Creole salt fish. Market vegetables and green salads, along with a wide array of the freshest fruit kebabs, will add a light and refreshing accent to the meal.

The dessert list is also an impressive deal. Patrons will have a choice of ginger bread, banana bread, or the island special rum cake for the finisher to their meal, all served with some of the highest quality ice cream available in all of the Federation.

While the food, which is hand prepared by some of the Caribbean’s top chefs, is certain to be the best part of anyone’s Easter Sunday, the very affordable, all-you-can-eat price of EC $59.50 per person makes Diamond Cut the perfect destination this holiday weekend.

According to the Director of Operations, Udora Farrell, the restaurant is the ideal place for the entire family to enjoy a traditional Easter lunch that offers a reasonable price and an extraordinary dining experience. She said patrons can look forward to a unique experience that will relax and satisfy in a most memorable way.

“We all get together at Christmas and other special days, and Easter should be no different. This would be an ideal way of celebrating as a family. It is a time to enjoy your loved ones, the holiday and the all of the finest Caribbean foods for an incredibly low price.

“Diamond Cut offers an experience like none other,” Farrell said.  “We hope that many persons – those who have been at the hotel and those who have never visited – would come out and experience one of the finest dining experiences the island has to offer.”

The Director of Operations informed that she is anticipating a favourable turnout and encouraged both locals and tourists to spend this Easter the luxurious way, the affordable way – the Diamond Cut way!
