    Basseterre, St. Kitts  September 28th, 2005  As part of the events of the 12th annual FCCA Conference & Trade Show held on St. Kitts from September 27-30, 2005, FCCA Chairman and Chairman & CEO of Carnival Corporation the esteemed Micky Arison presented Percival Hanley of the St. Christopher Heritage Society with a generous donation in the amount of US$7,800 to assist with the preservation of the unique treasures that comprise the island's rich and extensive heritage.
     
    The donation was made by the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association(FCCA) at a small ceremony at the St Kitts Marriott Resort, host hotel for the 3-day Conference.
     
    I'm extremely grateful and pleased to accept this wonderful contribution towards our efforts to preserve the heritage of our island for generations to come, stated Percival Hanley. This is a welcome result of the events that have taken place as part of the Conference and I assure you that we will put the funds to the best possible use in support of our cause. 
     
    The St. Christopher Heritage Society is a national, non-governmental, voluntary organisation established in 1989 and registered under the Company's Act of St. Kitts and Nevis in 1994. Its mission is to preserve and promote the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the island of St. Christopher (St. Kitts).
