| Japans Ambassador to the Federation, His Excellency Shigenobu Kato | |
| BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 3RD 2005 - St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Denzil L. Douglas has accepted an invitation from the Prime Minister of Japan to pay an Official Visit to Tokyo.
The invitation was delivered to the St. Kitts and Nevis leader by Japan's Ambassador to the Federation, His Excellency Shigenobu Kato from Japanese Prime Minister, His Excellency Junichiro Koizumi at recent talks in Castries, St. Lucia on the sidelines of the 26th Meeting of the Caribbean Community Heads of Government.
Prime Minister Douglas and Chief Secretary Mr. Joseph Edmeade discussed the upcoming visit with the Japanese diplomat who was in Basseterre last week.
