Three wanted!

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for three male residents of Basseterre and is seeking the public’s assistance in locating them.

     

    The men, Javed ‘Fat Head’ Johnson of East Street, Vinceroy Chumney also of East Street and Leon Phillip of Newtown, are currently being sought by the authorities in relation to respective crimes of “armed robbery”, “larceny from a dwelling house” and “larceny from a person”.

     

    According to the bulletin, Johnson is alleged to have committed the incident on April 16, 2009.  It further indicate that the crime for which Chumney is being sought was committed on April 19, 2009; however, a date of commission has not been given for the offence in connection with which Phillip is being sought.

     

    “Warrants of arrest” are in existence for the three men and the police are asking members of the public, who have information concerning their whereabouts, to make contact with the Criminal Investigations Department at 465-2241 or the nearest police station.

     

    The three men, according to police, are “considered armed and dangerous” and if seen “should not be approached by members of the public”.

     

    Head of the Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Cromwell Henry told SKNVibes that all matters are still under investigation.
