Basseterre, St. Kitts - This week additional information was released on the Children’s Dance Theatre (CDT) whose twentieth anniversary dance recital is slated for this Sunday, April 26th. DANCE WITH ME THROUGH SKB is the name chosen for this year’s highly acclaimed event as the pieces to be displayed will take the form of a dance excursion around the island, taking in the many sounds, sights and colors.
Also announced was the name of the sole sponsor which has come to the assistance of the fifty –five dancers presently enrolled.
For the second consecutive year NATIONAL BANK has willingly agreed to partner with CDT thus being designated FIVE STAR SPONSOR. A special ceremony was held on Saturday April 18th to celebrate this partnership.

According to Ms Hendrickson “National Bank recognizes that the CDT is not just about dance but its focus is also on instilling discipline, developing team working skills and the overall holistic development of the nation’s youth.”
Director Julie Martin in accepting the sponsorship cheque, stated that she is delighted that the country’s leading bank has once again demonstrated confidence in the Theatre’s commitment to high artistic standards, discipline and a sense of clean fun. She also affirmed that with their sponsorship and the support of their loyal fans, another spectacular dance production is expected.
DANCE WITH ME THROUGH SKB takes place this Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium and will feature works choreographed by an illustrious cadre of dance tutors namely, Heidi Slack, Sonji Isaac, Fatisha Imo, Shanikwa Laws, Genieve Hanley, Allyson Wilkinson and Julie Martin.
