Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 19, 2015 (SKNIS)—The annual National Consultation on the Economy, hosted by the Ministry of Finance will be held under the theme “Changing Lives—A Fresh Start Towards Sustainable Development, Growth and Prosperity” at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Thursday, October 22, from 9:00 am to 1:00pm.
A press release from the Ministry of Finance says “The St. Kitts and Nevis economy has begun to rebound from the effects of the global financial crisis and is now on a path of positive economic growth.”
The release further stated that “This consultation seeks to facilitate an engagement between the public sector, private sector and civil society to arrive at a consensus on strategies to promote sustainable economic growth and social development in the Federation.”
