SKNYPA Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts - As the recent upsurge in gang crime and violence in our Federation has left many families confused, grief-stricken and scared, citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis must search for a way to bring positive living back to our communities and to salvage the family values that seem to have been left by the wayside.

The St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association (SKNYPA) is initiating the “COMCENTAPLAY” project, which we hope will bring families, church groups, social clubs and community leaders together to have fun and socialise through old-fashioned activities in song and games. SKNYPA hopes to make this project an island wide affair by hosting this event at a different community centre each month.

The first COMCENTAPLAY will be held at the Conaree Community Centre on Friday, May 1, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Drinks and snacks will be provided at a low cost. All residents of the Conaree community are asked to come out in high spirits for a fun-filled evening to assist the SKNYPArians in our efforts to revitalise our communities with some decent, wholesome recreation.

Security will be present at all COMCENTAPLAY events to ensure persons are protected and safe at all times.
For more information, contact Ms. Azilla Clarke or any other SKNYPA member.

The group's email address is sknypa@yahoo.com.
