New Gold Sponsor will help SKNFA’s development program

Press Release

November 27th, 2015 -- The St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has welcomed on board its newest Gold Sponsor in a partnership both parties said will be mutually beneficial.

The agreement between the SKNFA and G Squared Arts, a top local marketing and advertising business, was recently signed at Football House.

SKNFA General Secretary Stanley Jacobs expressed the appreciation of the football organization. He said, “On behalf of the executive body of the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association, I would like to say a special thank you to G Squared Arts and owner Mr. Gerhon Joseph for coming on board in a big way with the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association as our gold sponsor to the tune of EC$50,000 in-kind sponsorship.”

Jacobs said that all sponsorship does not have to be as incoming cash, explaining that sponsorship can come in the form of expense reduction. He explained, “This sponsorship is one that fulfill our needs in terms of all our printing and marketing material, and so it will be a significant saving.”

He reminds the country that football is a very expensive venture, especially as the SKNFA has embarked on a program to professionalize the environment in which the game is played. “Football is no longer a seasonal sport. It is a fulltime business,” Jacobs said.

As a consequence, he said the Association is working on increasing the amount of corporate sponsorship to support the new strategic program of development. He said, “In that light, we are very happy to have G Squared Arts on board with us, as our Gold Sponsor. I want to say thank you to the members of staff who are here this morning to make that commitment on behalf of G Squared Arts.”

G Squared Arts General Manager Josh DeSuza said, “On behalf of G Squared Arts and CEO Gerhon Joseph, I say thank you for allowing us this opportunity to come on board with the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association. We look forward to promoting football in St. Kitts and Nevis in a tremendous way.”
