Miss Labour Queen Pageant 2009 on for Saturday

The eight beauties vying for the Miss Labour Queen title

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE much anticipated Miss Labour Queen Pageant is scheduled for this Saturday evening (May 2) and will see eight vibrant and beautiful young ladies vying for the coveted title.

     

    The eight beauties are Akema Christian, Trishna Casey, Britney Liddie, Shauntel Wilkin, Ashley Wyatt, Sudine Clarke, Tamara Dorset and Nickeisha Pemberton.

     

    The Pageant will be held at Carnival Village from 8:00 p.m. and will see the contestants competing in four segments - Promotional Speech, Creative Wear, Performing Talent and Evening Wear.

     

    According to members of the Pageant’s Committee, the event would be an outstanding one under the theme “Harmony in Diversity”.

     

    It is said that the event would showcase performing arts, beauty, intelligence, creativity, poise and culture.

     

    It was announced that a surprise reggae artiste would be gracing the stage following the show, and SKNVibes has learnt that that artiste will be Reggae Princess Etana.
