Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 18, 2016 (SKNIS)—In his first monthly press conference for 2016, Prime Minister of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, will address key matters of national importance.
Prime Minister Harris will speak to matters pertaining to security and the initiatives taken by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF). Recently, the Police High Command met with the Federal Cabinet and presented it with the RSCNPF Strategic Plan 2016-2019. The plan was accepted in principle by the Cabinet.
The prime minister is also expected to address issues related to St. Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship-by-Investment Programme. Recently, Christophe Harbour in St. Kitts and Four Seasons Resort Estates in Nevis were the hosts of the NTL Caribbean Citizenship Summit 2016 held in the Federation from January 13-15.
Four Caribbean countries from the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) with a Citizenship by Investment Programme were hosts to the Caribbean Citizenship Summit 2016: Antigua (Jan 11-13); St. Kitts and Nevis (Jan 13-15); Grenada (Jan 16-18); St. Lucia (Jan 19-21).
As usual, the prime minister will field questions from media representatives.
